I love to read and socialize online so I’m in Facebook groups and Instagram quite a bit. And I see a lot of the same types of conversations – not just online, but with my clients and entrepreneurial friends.

What I see is a secret society of entrepreneurs who crave more, and a desire to explore where else their business can go…but can’t share that internal challenge with their online audiences. Or won’t seek out the support they need to take those next steps. 
 

The online world can mask a lot of the behind the scenes challenges that so many of us entrepreneurs face. 
 

We all see business owners say they have a full client load and can’t possibly take more…while secretly wishing for, maybe not more clients, but better clients. A full load doesn’t mean happiness. 
 

We have all known someone, perhaps ourselves, who say they’re at the pinnacle of where their business can go. And quite content there. But, are just fearful of taking the next step because they don’t want to fail. 
 

Deep down, you KNOW you can do so much MORE. Without having to put on a brave face to your audience and feel something completely different behind-the-scenes. 
 

The good news is that business DOESN’T have a glass ceiling! You’re creative and creativity has NO limits! Your business can go to places you’ve NEVER imagined it could go! 
 

Stop pretending you’re satisfied. Stop running away from that FALSE story you’ve been feeding yourself.

But, what’s worse? Limiting your business and the potential it could bring to your clients, community, and maybe even the world? Or exploring where it can truly lead?

Make one uncomfortable shift.One uncomfortable shift can mean turning your hourly services into a bigger package. Or reaching out to a potential client who intimidates you but you’d love to work with. Or hiring someone to help you take on a task you no longer enjoy doing.

Do an inventory check of what feels really good and aligned in your business.And then make plans to either hand off the things that don’t work for you to other people or get rid of them.

Things that feel aligned, like your client onboarding process or your services or your mission are great examples of what to keep. No matter where you take your business. Things you might decide to say goodbye to could include software, the types of clients you take on currently, and values you share through marketing.
